Perfect fun, relaxing family time. Positive: Absolutely wonderful place! All the comforts and activities to make for a great family get-away (with our young adult children). We paddled every day, enjoyed dinners on the screen porch, played board games, hiked, biked and even took an early-season “refreshing” swim! Gorgeous sunsets, and comfortable sleeping accomodations. Close to burlington so we enjoyed a day there too. We hope to return to Finlay’s Cove!

This charming cabin in the woods had all the modern amenities you hoped for and away from TV's. The place had games, puzzles and outdoor gear to keep my children happy and mostly off their screens. I even saw them playing battleship with the lanterns on the covered porch- What a great memory! The downstairs shower was hot, clean and easy to use. The upstairs bathroom wasn't really pumping out hot water but it wasn't too big of an issue to go downstairs to the other shower. Beds were awesome, clean, soft and cozy! I would absolutely come back here!

A wonderful escape for families or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, scenic setting! Positive: From the moment we arrived, this place felt like a cozy retreat. Just like home, but with breathtaking views in every direction. Every room in the house offers a stunning view, making it easy to relax and soak in the natural beauty. The home is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the cleanliness was top-notch. We especially loved the outdoor activities. Fishing was fantastic, and having access to kayaks and paddleboards added so much fun to our stay. The house is very private, which made it feel like our own little sanctuary. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the hosts provided a great selection of games for all ages, which was a thoughtful touch. Negative: If we had to mention any downsides, they would be minor. The terrain and stairs might be a bit challenging for older guests or those with mobility issues. Also, the upstairs suite bathroom had a noticeable sulfur odor, which was somewhat off-putting.

Vermont is so beautiful , and this place is really what is all about. Quiet place . Close from everything at the same time. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. We had some minor issues that was addressed quickly by the host. Check-in was really easy, communication clear and fast. Excellent stay.
