(Nuovo) La Casa sul Lago di Braeloch

We came back for a second year to this spot. It is a perfect spot for our family of 11 - two grandparents, two sons and their wives, and 5 grandchildren ages 4-11. The six bedrooms are arranged in groups of 2 with their own bathrooms so each family can have their own space. The kitchen is well equipped and the table is more than big enough for all of us. The waterfront is perfect for the grandchildren, being on a quiet cove where it feels safe to let them kayak and swim and float around.

This house is a 10/10. The location, setting, house itself, and staff were incredible. We will absolutely be back!!! Could not recommend more!

Lovely view! can get chilly in the summer

This is a lovely home on the lake with great views and a short drive to many attractions. Positive: We were a party of 7 seniors who primarily ate meals at the home. The kitchen was great! Wonderful island for meal prep and buffet serving. Good sized refrigerator with filtered water. Lots of supplies for every need -- dishes, glasses, detergent, plastic wrap, serving bowls, on and on. There was a large dining room that accommodated us nicely. But you are there for the view and it was lovely, with multiple decks, an enclosed porch, lots of furniture, etc. There was enough parking for our four cars. And it was quiet. We missed out on some of the amenities because a number of our party had bad knees and/or balance, so we could not gather on the lower patio or appreciate the terrific living room and huge TV down there, nor did we go to the lakeside to use the water equipment, but others will enjoy those aspects of the property. Negative: There were some issues operating the HVAC system, even with assistance from our hostess, who is very responsive. Again, in part because of accessibility issues, some of the shower facilities were less than optimal for us. [There is an immense shower on the lower floor that those with better knees can take advantage of!] We also suggested a few tweaks.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. Spent endless hours on the lake kayaking and swimming. Amenities are fantastic with a great firepit on the beach, hot tub and a wonderful barbecue and smoker. Lots of board games to keep everyone entertained in addition to the tennis and pickleball.Really faultless property and magical stay!
