Aldeia Wailea Elua na praia de Ulua

This is a beautiful unit and right on the ocean. Positive: Location was great. Negative: We've been coming to Elua Village for 15 years. I have NEVER had to write a negative review. We spend a lot of money here every single summer. We have stayed in so many beautiful homes in Wailea Elua (the property has been renamed from Elua Village). We had been working to secure a purchase for one of the units a few years ago, and when we were down here, my father passed away. We had to put our focus elsewhere. This is a beautiful location. However, this was the most challenging and disappointing stay from a communication and service perspective. There was NO housekeeping service for an 8 day stay. We had 4 adults and no one came by to clean or offer a minimal clean, or bring additional toilet paper, etc. We did finally receive a text asking if there was any damage related to the hurricane. We brought the cushions in as they were taking a pounding when Hurricane Lala came through during our stay. We cleaned windows, swept inside and out with the impact of the hurricane. Prior to our arrival, we reached out repeatedly about a possible 2-hour delay for our checkout. We NEVER received a response until the day we arrived. On our arrival day, we received a notice that we could pay to stay an additional day. When we inquired about paying to stay according to the "invitation to stay an additional day," we were told NO. On our day of departure, we had cleaners, security, etc., hovering outside and we were packed to leave LITERALLY 5 minutes to 11:00 and it was intrusive. We are amazing guests. I require that my family literally cleans non-stop as this is someone's home, and we are extremely disappointed in the interaction we had prior to, during, and after our stay. The location is great and the unit is beautiful. The master bedroom really doesn't provide much storage, but very nice nonetheless. There are many other ocean front units that offer more clothes storage, and actual communication prior to arrival.

We've always stayed in Ulua Village condos and never been disappointed. This particular unit was superb...right on the beach front, beautifully decorated and well appointed with amenities that made the stay comfortable and stress-free. The owners were quick to respond to our queries and helpful with local suggestions..

What a lovely place. Modern, clean, fantastic views. Ou family of four had such a lovely time. Well recommended!

We loved this condo. Photos are accurate. We have stayed all over Maui and this Wailea Elua complex is our favorite. Great location, views and everything you need close by.
